I live outside of the US, where should I go to buy digital comics on Amazon?
Customers in the UK will be able to purchase and browse comics within the updated Comixology app using the Discover tab.
Customers who live outside of the US and UK (whose preferred local Amazon store in settings is not US or UK) will be required to make their purchases through their local Amazon store. See below for some quick links to help you discover digital comics in your regional Amazon store. Any comics purchased through Amazon can be read in the Comixology app.
Customers who borrow comics through Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading programs through Amazon websites and Apps or Kindle app an access these books in their library in Comixology app.
Will all customers be able to update to the new Comixology app?
The new CMX app will continue to be supported on iOS, Android, and the Fire OS devices
Customers need to be on iOS 9.5, Android 5.0, and Fire OS 5.0 or higher to be able to use our current and upcoming apps.
If your device is no longer supported, you can continue to read your Comixology books using the Kindle Cloud Reader.
How will this affect my series subscriptions?
Series subscriptions will only be available on amazon.com. Unfortunately, series subscriptions for customers outside the US will not be available in your country. As a result, your active subscriptions will automatically be turned off once the shopping experience moves from the Comixology website to Amazon. To stay up-to-date on new releases for your favorite series use the “Follow” feature on your country’s Amazon website. You can search for your favorite series or creator and click “Follow” to get those updates.
Are there any changes to library series grouping?
Library series grouping will be available in the US, UK, DE, and JP stores. If you are not using those stores, when we launch the new app in your country, content in your library will not be grouped by series. We’re working hard to bring library series grouping available to more countries.
