Response to comiXology Submit has been overwhelmingly positive and the volume of submissions has been very high. Unlike other services, comiXology Submit curates the content uploaded through our portal and then once selected comiXology staffers then need to author the content in Guided View. So notification and release are unfortunately far from instantaneous.
Currently the length of time to hear about whether your comic or graphic novel is approved for release is around three months with the release happening five to eight weeks after approval. Our goal is to have the least amount of waiting as humanly possible, but given the volume of submission, the internal approval process and production pipeline for authoring, there is unfortunately a wait. That said, we are working on improving this time every day.
