I tried to Checkout but I got an error, what should I do?

Getting an error at Checkout that sometimes contains a “Case Code Error” on screen could be the result of a few things.

The most popular cause is that your credit card may be out of date or has expired. To be on the safe side, you can log into your Billing area on comiXology and verify how things are looking if your primary method is a Credit Card.

If your primary method is Amazon Payments, it’s best to log into your Amazon account and verify that your payment method is up to date. That same method works if your default payment method is PayPal as well; you can log into PayPal to review your account status.

Another possible solution you can try would be to delete your primary method of payment in your Billing area of comiXology.com and add it back as a brand new payment method.

It’s also possible that your bank has declined the charge, but we’ll try to mention that on-screen if that’s the case. Worst case, it may be a good idea to give your bank a call to make sure everything looks good.

Don’t forget that you can always reach out to our customer service team if none of these options have kicked things into place at support@comixology.com
